The Loren Homes Story
Loren Homes is led by principals Andrew Carruth and Lauren Merritt, a brother-sister duo who are third generation homebuilders carrying on a family legacy of excellence and service.
Andrew and Lauren’s father, Mark Carruth, learned the trade early working with his own father who was a builder in Macon, GA. By 1984, Mark had relocated to north Atlanta and founded his own residential construction company, Loren Construction. As kids, the two saw firsthand their father’s dedication to his customers and his team as the company built a reputation for superior quality and an unmatched passion for serving customers. Over time, Loren grew into partnerships with industry-leading names like Arvida Corporation and Cousins Properties to build in award-winning communities like Country Walk in Powder Springs as well as Bentwater and Seven Hills in Acworth.
Andrew and Lauren grew up a part of the Loren family, watching, learning and eventually working alongside their dad and the team. The two officially took the helm in 2018, rebranding the company as Loren Homes to mark the transition to the next generation. Since then, they and the Loren Homes team have continued to build on the family’s legacy with a sincere passion for working closely with homebuyers to create their dream home and delivering the very best quality, service and experience for each and every new homeowner.
